Donald Trump visits Arlington National Cemetery to mark the third anniversary of the Afghanistan withdrawal.

He was joined by some of the families of the fallen soldiers.

CNN reported:

Former President Donald Trump is scheduled to visit Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia this morning to mark the third anniversary of the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, a source familiar with the matter told CNN.

Former President Donald Trump on Monday took part in a wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia to mark the third anniversary of the Abbey Gate attack at Kabul airport that killed 13 U.S. soldiers.

Trump, who was joined by the families of the fallen soldiers, has frequently criticized the Biden administration, particularly Vice President Kamala Harris, over the disorganized withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan.

“This marks the third anniversary of the most shameful moment in our nation’s history: the failed withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan — a spectacular incompetence that left 13 American soldiers dead, hundreds more wounded or killed, and Americans and billions of dollars worth of military equipment left behind,” Trump said.

Truth Social:

This is the third anniversary of the most shameful moment in our nation’s history: the failed Afghanistan withdrawal. Gross incompetence. 13 U.S. soldiers died, hundreds more were wounded and killed, and Americans and billions of dollars of military equipment were left behind. Instead of withdrawing our soldiers first, we withdraw them last after everything else works out. Then Russia invaded Ukraine, Israel was attacked, and the U.S. became a laughing stock around the world. The Fake News Media continues to stay silent to protect the worst administration in the history of our nation. MAGA2024
