WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump has signed an executive order to establish the National Energy Control Council to advise the president on a strategy to control the US energy.
White House documents on the order provided to Breitbart News point out that the secretary of interior Doug Burgum will chair the council, while energy secretary Chris Wright will become vice-president. Various cabinets and agents also work on the council.
“The Council advises President Trump on strategies to achieve energy control by improving the permit, production, production, distribution, regulation and transportation processes across all forms of America's energy,” White House documents state.
Additionally, the council has been directed to present a strategy to Trump, focusing on ending bureaucratic hurdles and boosting private sector investment.
Prior to the signing, a White House spokesman said the order would also “reduce energy costs.”
Bulgham and Wright were caught between cards in an oval office before signing and press conference.

Bulgham declared the Biden administration's “war on American energy” as of Friday, “official.”
“The Biden administration had an entire government approach. There's a war on the US energy,” he said. “Now we need to make it about 180 degrees and unlock that possibility. We need to unlock it all the way from the Gulf of America to Alaska.”
Bulgham highlights America's failure to benefit many of the “surprising resources of this country,” noting that many resources are on public land or public land.
“The interior has 500 million acres of surfaces, 700 million acres of underground minerals, important minerals, and 2 billion acres offshore,” Bulgham added. “And that balance sheet is the largest balance sheet in the world and is completely underutilized.”
Wright said Trump's orders grant officials authority to address energy barriers.
“With this amazing action from the President, we now have the authority to lean into the entire government to resolve these issues,” he said.
Trump has also signed an executive order banning federal funding for schools that implement coronavirus vaccine requirements. BreitbartNews first reported it a few hours before its signature.
