Trump details plans to bomb Iran if he is killed

Concerns Over Threats Against President Trump

Recent intelligence suggests that Iran is considering an assassination attempt on President Donald Trump. In response, he has reportedly devised a backup plan, which his advisers have somewhat jokingly referred to as “Operation B**** Slap.”

“I’ve been on their list for a long time, and that’s what we’re dealing with,” Trump mentioned in an interview. “The only thing is that I left instructions…that if something happens, to literally bomb at a level we’ve never seen before.”

This statement aligns with comments he made earlier in the week during a NATO summit held in Turkey, where he expressed concern for his safety. “They want to remove me, the leader of the United States. … And so far, I think I’ve been a little bit lucky, but it probably won’t last long,” he stated.

When asked about reports indicating that Israel had warned of a potential plot against him, Trump dismissed the notion of any new threats and reiterated that Iran has sought to take his life for several years.

“No, no. Israel came up with nothing. No, no,” he said, emphasizing his long-standing position as a target. “I’ve been number one for a long time and that’s how life is.”

This animosity towards Trump can be traced back to the 2020 airstrike that resulted in the death of Iranian General Qassem Soleimani, which was sanctioned during Trump’s administration. Recently, prior to a considerable airstrike that killed Ayatollah Khamenei, Iranian state media had issued menacing broadcasts directed at Trump, representing the ongoing threat.

One notable broadcast even displayed a billboard from a rally in Tehran featuring Trump with the caption in Farsi that read, “This time we won’t miss the mark.”

Last week, during the multi-day funeral of the late supreme leader, many attendees carried disturbing posters explicitly calling for Trump’s assassination. These posters included harrowing imagery, with some suggesting a bounty on Trump’s head, stating things like, “There will be blood,” and “Kill Trump.”

The threats to the president’s life extend beyond international concerns. At home, he’s also faced numerous serious threats, including an assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, and a separate incident where a man with a rifle showed up at Trump International Golf Club in Florida. Firing occurred at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner he attended as well.
