Trump guest shares special message to president after address to Congress

In a speech to Congress on Tuesday night, Little John, her mother and one of President Donald Trump's guests, shared a special message to the president in an interview with Fox News Digital.

In his speech, Trump was grateful for his recognition of Little John and his opposition to transgender ideology.

“My administration is also working to protect children from the toxic ideology of our schools,” Trump said. “A few years ago, Little John and her husband in January discovered that their daughter's school had secretly socially transitioned to a 13-year-old girl. Teachers and administrators conspired to deceive her husband in January, encouraging her daughter to use a new name and pronoun.

Trump has promoted the recent signature of an executive order that said public schools would “prohibit banning children from indoctrinating with transgender ideology.

In his speech, the president urged Congress to pass a bill that “permanently bans and criminalizes sexual changes in children, and ends the lie that children are trapped in the wrong body forever.”

“This is a big lie and our message to all children in America is that you are completely perfect in the way God made you,” Trump said.

Little John told Fox News Digital that she is “very grateful” to the president, but the fight is not over.

Regarding Trump, Little John said, “I want to thank him and continue to tell the truth that there are two genders: male or female.

“It's really important to understand how parents are destructive in their children's social transition,” she said. “This is the first step into medical intervention and reduces the likelihood of removal of the child.”

She described her daughter as 13 years old in middle school, and several friends began to cling to her gender identity.

“The school intervened with my kids and took it to make a social transition. And this is far beyond name and pronouns. They sit down. In our case, we were in a closed room with three adults made up of school counselors, assistant principals and social workers.

Little John said in the session that school staff asked their daughter which bathroom and locker room they wanted to use, which sex they wanted to have during the overnight trip, and whether they wanted to notify their parents.

“They put a burden on her as to whether my parents' rights would be respected by determining that my husband and I were the sole decision maker as to whether they would be notified about the meeting,” she explained.

Little John said when inquiring about the session to the school, he was told “they can't give me any information about the meeting” and “my daughter is now protected by non-discriminatory laws.”

Today, Little John says her daughter worked through her gender confusion. However, she said the school's actions created “a giant wedge between us and our daughter.”

“Give these kids the gift of time and allow them to experience natural adolescence, the majority of these kids will naturally resolve their pain, just like my daughter did,” she said. “My daughter is a illustrious example of that, but she still grieves the time she lost, the year she lost, but she dedicated her ideological lies to become something she never could be. That part is truly tragic.”

Despite all this, Little John said she was “humble and respected” to be invited to attend the address as a presidential guest.

“I felt the weight of not only my family and what we went through, but all the families that have done harm to this gender identity ideology,” she said. “And that's still happening. I get weekly calls from parents who are seduced by the false idea that their children were born with the wrong body.”

She said the experience left behind a “sense of hope,” but she said.

“We still have 21,000 school districts in our country that have these secret social transition plans. And it's really sad because these kids, this identity crisis is being forced on them. “But the bottom line is that we have truth and reality on our side. And we're very grateful that we're moving in the right direction.”
