Trump highlights tax cuts and border protection at Arizona rally before the midterm elections

Trump Rally in Bullhead City Focuses on Economic Achievements

President Donald Trump recently led a rally in Bullhead City, Arizona, where he emphasized his administration’s economic successes while also promoting GOP candidates ahead of the forthcoming midterm elections in November.

On stage alongside U.S. Representative Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.) and other conservative leaders from the state, Trump highlighted his administration’s effects on state tax relief, job creation, and border security.

“In 15 months, we have $21.2 trillion invested,” Trump stated to the audience. “Building plants, factories, building everything all over the country.”

His remarks came after the announcement of the Working Families Tax Cuts, and the White House Press Office pointed out that Arizona has seen zero taxes on Social Security, larger average tax refunds for residents, increased investments in rural health, and consistent growth in jobs and wages.

Those attending the rally were enthusiastic, applauding how the Trump administration’s focus on tax cuts, energy independence, border security, and pro-business economic policies has led to significant investment and the creation of high-paying jobs throughout Arizona.

Arizona’s tech and manufacturing sectors are undergoing major changes, with significant projects in the pipeline. For example, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company is set to invest $200 billion in Phoenix, while EVelution Energy is establishing an $850 million cobalt processing facility in Yuma County, which is expected to create 3,300 jobs. Additionally, Amkor Technology is launching a $2 billion semiconductor packaging site in Peoria, contributing 2,200 jobs, and Hadrian is opening a $200 million manufacturing and software hub in Mesa, which will bring about 350 new jobs. This information was provided in a report from the White House.

In a separate notable statistic, apprehensions at the southern border decreased by 94% from the monthly average of the previous administration, and during the same period, U.S. Customs and Border Protection reported a 73% increase in drug seizures compared to the previous fiscal year’s figures, which is also 61% higher than the four-year average.

With these achievements as a backdrop, President Trump used the Arizona rally to highlight his economic and border security record while also supporting Biggs and Mark Lamb, who is running for the 5th Congressional District in Arizona.
