Trump Honors Holocaust Victims, Calls Out ‘Leftist, Anti-American Colleges’

President Donald J. Trump issued a stern declaration showing the age of memory of Holocaust victims, honoring the memories of the six million Jews who were killed, and also sharply condemned the “left, anti-American universities and universities” that promoted the revival of America’s anti-Semitism.

Wednesday, Holocaust Remembering Day, White House Published This week, a declaration signed by President Trump, who designated Americans as a recommended time to reflect on the Holocaust and fight hatred. The statement comes in the wake of the growing anti-Semitic rhetoric and violence in the United States, particularly after Hamas’ terrorist attacks on Israel on October 7th.

“We respect the blessed memories of six million Jewish men, women and children who have been so massacred by the Genosidal Nazi regime and their collaborators,” declared Trump, acknowledging the other victims.

“We also remember those of our ancestors in Rome and Sinti, Slavic and Polish, those with disabilities, Soviet prisoners, Jehovah’s Witnesses, those targeted based on sexual orientation, and countless innocent victims of this tragedy,” he said.

He highlighted the enduring connection of this history in the current events, saying, “The poison of anti-Semitism still exists tragically.”

The president emphasized the importance of Holocaust education and survivor testimony, and earlier this year marked the 80th anniversary of Auschwitz’s liberation.

“In these times of memory of Holocaust victims, we once again praise all Holocaust survivors who have passed on their wisdom to the younger generations,” he said. “Today and every day, we promise to preserve their stories.”

He also highlighted the role of America in supporting Israeli Jews who “stopped out of the ashes” of the Holocaust and the modern Israeli state.

In response to the surge in anti-Semitism incidents against the US soil, President Trump has reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to protecting Jewish Americans. Citing the new executive order, he directed the federal government to utilize “available and appropriate legal tools” against anti-Semitic discrimination and harassment, including the consequences of immigration to foreigners who incite hatred.

The declaration also directly criticized the “left, anti-American universities and universities” as the center of unidentified anti-Semitic sentiment, vowing to promptly investigate and enforce such actions. The move is consistent with broader conservative concerns about intolerance and increased radical activity on campus.

“We declare that this will never mean again,” the president concluded as he marked the times through “appropriate research, prayers and memorials,” and called on Americans to ensure that Holocaust memories serve as guidelines for justice and vigilance.

The declaration is as anti-American and anti-Israel leftist activism has surged across university campuses across the country, fueling an anti-Semitic environment, and Jewish students have become afraid of safety.
