President-elect Trump posted a message on his Truth Social account on Friday contrasting his 2023 headshot with the cover of Time magazine.
Trump was named Time magazine's “Person of the Year” this week, which included a cover and in-depth interview as he prepares for his second inauguration.

Trump's mugshot was taken in May 2023, when he was indicted on election fraud charges and processed at the Fulton County Jail in Atlanta.
The magazine announced Thursday that Trump, who suffered an assassination attempt last summer and won non-consecutive presidential elections since Grover Cleveland in the 19th century, has been named Person of the Year.

President Trump called it an “honor” at a ceremony following the announcement.
“Thank you so much for doing this,” he said, “and thank you to the whole Time group. They're really professional people.”

He was named the magazine's “Person of the Year” for the first time after he was first elected president in 2016.
