Trump Predicts Deal Between Iran and Israel Amid Tensions
Former President Trump expressed optimism that both Iran and Israel would eventually “take a deal” following heightened tensions after a recent preemptive strike in Tehran.
Reflecting on previous peace agreements, Trump noted his significant involvement but stated he remains skeptical about future outcomes.
On social media, he wrote, “Iran and Israel should have made a contract, similar to what I did with India and Pakistan. With two capable leaders, we could bring reason, unity, and sanity to the situation, using trade with the US to facilitate progress!”
The conflict between Israel and Iran is ongoing. As Trump shared his thoughts, Iran condemned Israel for multiple bombings in Tehran.
Last week, Israel undertook several preemptive strikes targeting Iran’s nuclear facilities, resulting in casualties among top military officials and key scientists.
Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu asserted that these attacks were only “the beginning,” while Iran has vowed severe retaliation.
Trump recalled his previous efforts for peace, mentioning the long-standing tensions between Serbia and Kosovo that he helped ease, claiming President Biden’s current approach has worsened the situation.
He also referenced ongoing conflicts between Egypt and Ethiopia over a significant dam impacting the Nile, asserting that peace is currently maintained due to his intervention.
Trump concluded by stating, “I believe peace between Israel and Iran is achievable soon. There are numerous discussions happening right now. I’ve contributed a lot; maybe I won’t be actively involved this time, but that’s okay—people get it. Let’s make the Middle East great again!”
