Former President Donald Trump is scheduled to hold a rally in President Joe Biden’s home state of Pennsylvania on Saturday, days before the president is set to begin his hush money trial in New York City.

The former president and 2024 White House presidential candidate is scheduled to speak at the Schnecksville Fire Department in Lehigh County and will also attend a fundraiser in nearby Bucks County. This will be President Trump’s third visit to the state this year in preparation for the 2024 election in November.

Trump flipped Pennsylvania in 2016, but then lost the state to Biden in 2020. Biden was born in the northeastern city of Scranton and often talks about his Pennsylvania roots.

Biden is scheduled to speak on taxes in Scranton on Tuesday, his campaign announced Friday. His lecture, scheduled for the day after Tax Day on April 15, aims to “bring home the simple question: ‘Do you think the tax code is better for the wealthy or the middle class?’ ” I hope that. The president has made it clear what he thinks the answer is, and so has Donald Trump. ”

“I’m testifying. I’m telling the truth. So all I can do is tell the truth,” Trump told reporters. “And the truth is, there is no incident.”

President Trump also called his trial a “fraud” and “witch hunt” when asked if he planned to testify.
