Trump Speaks to Putin and Zelensky About Striking a Peace Deal

President Donald Trump spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Voldy Zelensky as he is about to diminish the war between nations.

Trump announced in a pair of truth social posts that he first spoke with Putin and then with Zelensky.

“I had a long and very productive call with Russian President Vladimir Putin. We discussed Ukraine, the Middle East, energy, artificial intelligence, the power of the dollar, and a variety of other subjects,” Trump said in his first post. I wrote it.

Trump said he and Putin shared their desire to end the war before he and Putin spoke about America and Russia “will work together one day.”

“But first, as we both agreed, we want to stop the millions of deaths happening in the war with Russia/Ukraine. President Putin is my very own. It even used a powerful campaign motto, the “common sense.” We believe both very strongly,” Trump wrote.

Putin and Trump have instructed the team to start negotiations soon.

“We agreed to start negotiations with each team immediately, and we will start by calling Ukrainian President Zelensky and letting him know the conversation.

Trump's team includes special envoys of Secretary of State Marco Rubio, CIA Director John Ratcliffe, national security adviser Mike Waltz, and Middle East Steve Witkoff. Witkov helped to help attack the ceasefire contract between Hamas and Israel before Trump took office.

Trump followed his second post after calling it a positive call with Zelensky.

He wrote:

The conversation went very well. He wants to create peace, like President Putin. We discussed various topics related to the war, but mostly on a conference established in Munich on Friday. I hope that the results of that meeting will be positive. It's time to stop this ridiculous war. There was massive, completely unnecessary death and destruction. Bless the people of Russia and Ukrainians!

Zelensky used X to share the Trumps where he “had a meaningful conversation.”

“No one wants peace as much as Ukraine. With the United States, we are portraying the next step to stop Russian attacks and ensuring lasting and reliable peace. President Trump said Like I said, let's get it done,” Zelnki wrote in part.

White House press secretary Caroline Levitt said he spoke with Trump ahead of the White House reporter briefing on Wednesday.

“He told me to tell you all that they are a very good call and that they are very positive, and that the government would end once for all of the Russian-Ukraine war. I am truly committed to the peace agreement,” Levitt said. “More about that later.”
