Trump States He Would Bomb Iran Again If Necessary During Unforeseen Press Conference

Trump Holds Press Conference on Iran and Court Ruling

President Donald Trump unexpectedly stepped into the White House briefing room on Friday for a one-hour press conference, during which he expressed a readiness to take military action against Iran if circumstances warranted it.

This press conference followed a Supreme Court decision that indicated lower courts had overstepped by implementing a nationwide block on Trump’s policies regarding birthright citizenship. Seizing the moment, Trump discussed broader issues, including tensions in the Middle East and remarked on an alleged assassination attempt against him organized by Iran.

“It’s true, there’s no doubt,” Trump affirmed, addressing reporters. He added, “They’re tired. The last thing they’re thinking is the core [weapons].” It seems he has strong beliefs about Iran’s current stance.

He also discussed reports from various media outlets, claiming that Iran’s nuclear facilities have essentially been “expunged” following months of inactivity. Trump seemed confident that their nuclear ambitions would not resume anytime soon. “I don’t believe they’ll be back to nuclear anytime soon. They wasted over a trillion on their nuclear program and never really managed to get it together,” he said, emphasizing the danger posed by nuclear materials.

Trump conveyed his concern about allowing Iran to possess nuclear weapons for an extended period, stating, “I can’t have them with nuclear weapons for 25 years, even as a civilian. That’s what happened. It’s been wiped out.” He suggested that Iran might seek to engage in negotiations but maintained a skeptical tone. “It’ll take years for them to be able to start,” he noted, adding that the nation has endured significant challenges following the war.

On the topic of negotiations, Trump mentioned that he had decided to pause meetings with Iran’s leadership. In the latter part of the conference, he further addressed the Supreme Court’s ruling related to birthright citizenship. “This decision lets us quickly move forward with a number of policies that had been wrongly blocked around the country,” he stated, with an assurance that his Attorney General is dedicated to the cause.

Throughout his presidency, Trump expressed frustration over various policies being halted by lower courts, from sanctuary funding to actions aimed at limiting taxpayer dollars spent on transgender medical procedures for minors.

Trump highlighted how over 199 temporary rulings have stalled his administration’s policy goals, referencing statements made by Attorney General John Saul regarding these judicial interventions.

As he concluded the press conference, Trump cast doubts on the motivations behind these court rulings, indicating a desire to push through changes that align with his administration’s goals for the nation.
