Tech billionaire Elon Musk's political action committee is offering a starting wage of $30 an hour to individuals seeking to increase voter registration and turnout, according to the PAC's website.
“Join our team,” America PAC, which Musk founded, says on its website. “If you're interested in working to improve voter registration and turnout, please email us. Salaries start at $30 an hour, with bonuses based on performance.”
Earlier this summer, Musk endorsed former President Donald Trump as the 45th president seeks another victory in the Oval Office. The Tesla founder joined President Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Saturday night, marking Trump's historic homecoming following the assassination attempt that left him with bloody injuries during a July 13 rally.
“I I think this is the most important election of our lifetimes. This is no ordinary election. The other person is trying to take away your freedom of speech. They want to take away your right to bear arms… They want to take away your right to validly vote,” Musk told the crowd on Saturday.

His comments adhere to America PAC's mission, which says it works to promote “free speech, free markets, and a meritocratic society.” Last month, Musk launched a super PAC website to ramp up his campaign efforts in key battleground states such as Nevada, Arizona, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Georgia and North Carolina, as well as in battleground states across the country.

Politico reported last week that Turning Point Action and America PAC are teaming up in Wisconsin to strengthen the race for Republican votes.
Turning Point spokesman Andrew Corbett told Politico, “We always knew a body at the scene was equivalent to a ballot in a box.” “This partnership will greatly advance our efforts to ensure our poll workers have maximum impact in Wisconsin.”
