Trump’s Rally in Arizona: A Call for Republican Turnout

During a campaign stop in Bullhead City on Wednesday, former President Donald Trump issued a stark warning to Arizona voters, asserting that Democrats would “destroy our country.” He criticized their behavior during the State of the Union and encouraged his supporters to vote Republican across the board.

With Election Day looming just weeks away, Trump stood alongside Rep. Andy Biggs, the Republican gubernatorial candidate, as he targeted Democrat Governor Katie Hobbs and emphasized the need for a strong Republican showing in honor of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

“On election night, Arizona is going to prove that America does not belong to those who hate it,” Trump declared. “America belongs to those who love it.”

Biggs echoed Trump’s sentiments, referencing the State of the Union address from February where he claimed Democrats’ refusal to stand for Trump’s remarks showed their disconnection.

“Vote Republican top to bottom,” Biggs urged the crowd, aiming to galvanize support to turn Arizona red.

Trump went on to highlight the Democrats’ lack of applause during a moment honoring veterans in his previous address, commenting, “Not one Democrat smiled or clapped. And that’s when I looked at them, and I said, ‘You people are crazy.’”

He recounted specific moments from the February address, including awarding the Medal of Honor to 100-year-old retired Navy Captain E. Royce Williams and recognizing WWII veteran George “Buddy” Taggart.

Furthermore, Trump criticized Governor Hobbs directly, labeling her as a “low IQ individual,” and described the dire consequences he believes Democrats would bring if left in power.

As he encouraged the crowd to support Republican candidates like Secretary of State nominee Alex Kolodin, whom he described as “a warrior for election integrity,” Trump humorously remarked that Kolodin looked a bit “nerdy.”

The rally also featured a tribute to Charlie Kirk on what would have been his 33rd birthday. Trump remembered him fondly, prompting chants of “Charlie! Charlie!” from the audience.

In closing, Trump urged the crowd to vote in Kirk’s honor, stating, “He’d be out there fighting like nobody else. So, let’s have a big victory in honor of Charlie Kirk.”
