Trump vows to create ‘Christian Visibility Day’ following Biden’s declaration of ‘Trans Visibility Day’

Former President Trump pledged to create a “Christian Day of Visibility” in response to President Biden’s declaration of a “Transgender Day of Visibility,” which coincidentally fell on this year’s Easter Sunday.

“So what was Biden thinking when he declared Easter Sunday Trans Visibility Day?” President Trump asked supporters during a campaign rally in Green Bay, Wisconsin., on tuesday. “It’s an utter contempt for Christians.”

The presumptive Republican presidential candidate has vowed to make November 5th “Christian Visibility Day” if elected.

“And on November 5th, it’s going to have a different name. You know, it’s going to be called Christian Visibility Day,” Trump said, to thunderous applause.

President Trump’s comments came as President Biden celebrated March 31, which falls on Easter Sunday this year, as “Transgender Day of Visibility.”

Biden faces backlash after the annual day honoring the transgender movement coincides with Easter Sunday, one of the most important and holiest days for Christians, which celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ. .

President Trump’s press secretary, Caroline Leavitt, previously called “Trans Visibility Day” “appalling and insulting.”

Levitt said the president’s announcement is an example of the Biden administration’s “long-standing assault on the Christian faith.”

The White House issued a statement saying criticism of Transgender Visibility Day, which coincides with Easter, is divisive.

“As a Christian who celebrates Easter with my family, President Biden is in a position to unite people and protect the dignity and freedoms of all Americans,” the statement read. “Unfortunately, it is no surprise that politicians seek to divide and weaken our country with cruel, hateful, and dishonest rhetoric. Never abuse your faith.”
