Former President Trump is scheduled to hold a “Get Out the Vote” rally in Rome, Georgia, on Saturday, as the possibility of a rematch with President Biden in the 2020 presidential election increases.
Trump is reeling from a number of primary victories, including his most recent victory in the American Samoa caucuses on Friday night. Following the Super Tuesday upset, former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley withdrew from the race, paving the way for Trump to win the Republican nomination.
Biden will also be in the Peach State, holding a dueling campaign event in Atlanta on Saturday night. It’s just a few miles from Fulton County, where Trump is facing criminal charges for allegedly trying to overturn the state’s 2020 results.
The former president is scheduled to speak at 5 p.m. ET.
