Trump’s DOJ Speech Unprecedented, ‘Shameful Public Display’

MSNBC host Katie Phang said on Friday on “The Beat” that President Donald Trump's speech at the Justice Department was a “unprecedented and shameful public exhibition.”

Fans said: “We have today started with an unprecedented, shameful public exhibition by President Trump, revealing new and lows in his attacks on the Department of Justice corruption and the rule of law. Trump goes to the DOJ itself. This goes to the very place where the President barely does, the decision was made to investigate and prosecute him for his alleged crimes. He gave an hour-long speech, calling for his political enemy to be imprisoned, and suggested that it should be illegal to criticize the judge and that it should be illegal to say he lost the election.”

Trump said, “People who did this to us should go to prison. Many of the judges I had, if you see them, they will get rid of tremendous abuse. They will get abused like that. And honestly, they are very simply afraid of bad publicity. It should be illegal, and perhaps illegal. The newspapers are really no different to a well-paid political operative. It should be stopped. It must be illegal. In our country, the decorated bent elections were not different. When you think about it. And those who did this to us should go to prison. They should go to prison.”
