Trump’s dueling day in court as hush money, Georgia cases collide: Live updates 

Former President Trump’s legal battles will be played out in split-screen format as high-stakes hearings in his two state criminal cases begin Thursday.

Trump is expected to join his lawyers in New York as a judge considers whether to dismiss Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s (Democratic) hush money indictment, his first charge.

At the same time, lawyers representing Mr. Trump and some of his co-defendants at the Georgia General Elections General Assembly are seeking support from Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis (D) and his He plans to persuade a judge in Atlanta to disqualify him from office. Prosecutor.

The livestreamed proceedings are likely to include testimony from Willis and others in her office.

Both hearings are scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. ET.
