Sen. Ted Cruz Commends Successful Bombing of Iran’s Nuclear Facilities

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) expressed his gratitude towards the military and intelligence personnel as well as President Donald Trump for their roles in the recent bombing of Iran’s nuclear sites.

“I want to commend the pilots, military staff, intelligence agents, and President Trump along with his national security team for the crucial actions taken last night,” Cruz stated on Saturday evening.

He emphasized the ongoing threat posed by Iran’s nuclear ambitions, noting that as long as they can operate at Fordow, their pursuit of nuclear weapons may continue unabated. “The steps taken last night significantly advance our efforts to neutralize that threat,” he added.

Cruz’s remarks came in light of actions prompted by President Trump, who had ordered US Air Force bombers to engage in the operation, according to reports.

A more detailed statement from the senator highlighted the Iranian regime’s intentions, which he described as one of the gravest threats to the US and its allies. He mentioned that the call for the Ayatollah’s demise is genuine, underscoring Iran’s nuclear aspirations as a serious concern.

Cruz noted that after a significant declaration, Israeli forces executed a preemptive strike against Iran’s infrastructure, enhancing their capabilities to counter the existential threat posed by Iranian nuclear weapons.
