Trump’s post about James Comey suggested his ‘assassination’

President Trump recently shared a cryptic image, alleging that former FBI director James Comey targeted him with a call for assassination.

“He understood the implications. The kids get it too… it’s a reference to ‘assassination,'” Trump stated during an interview with Brett Baier on Friday.

Comey shared a photo of a seashell shaped like “86 47” on Thursday. Given that he is the 47th director, this could be interpreted as excluding him.

He captioned the Instagram post, “Cool Shell Formation on My Beach Walk.”

Christie Noem from the Homeland Security Department quickly announced that the DHS and the Secret Service are looking into the “threat.”

Trump responded by saying, “He’s planning to assassinate the president,” following significant backlash from his supporters regarding Comey’s post.

Trump referred to Comey as a “dirty cop,” mentioning that Attorney General Pam Bondy should ultimately determine his fate, insisting that there should be zero tolerance for such actions.
