In May, the U.S. experienced an addition of 172,000 jobs during President Trump’s administration. In contrast, numerous positions have vanished within the left-leaning entertainment sector managed by Democrats.
Reports indicate that job growth “was not felt across the industry.” Film and music employment dropped by 2,700, reaching 328,000, while jobs in broadcasting and content provision fell by 4,000 to 333,200, as per the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Isn’t it interesting? The industry that shows so much disdain for us and seems intent on influencing young children in certain ways is actually contracting. Someone should really get me a violin for this.

I get it; I should probably feel for those who’ve lost their jobs, or at least feign some sympathy… but honestly, I don’t. My ability to empathize faded when the entertainment industry openly embraced controversial practices regarding children.
This industry has strayed so far from goodness that, in my opinion, it’s hard to see how anyone can justify being a part of it.
Still, I believe there are individuals outside this realm striving to create genuinely good work. Wishing them well! But the people who are in charge right now? Not so much.
I think most rational folks wouldn’t mind seeing the entertainment industry face financial ruin.
Given how things are, maybe it’s time for it to crumble altogether.
And those who have found themselves out of work…? They’d likely be better off distancing themselves from that toxic environment. Perhaps there’s a chance for them to find a better path.
Just think how much stronger our job market could be if the left-leaning institutions and media outlets like Hollywood hadn’t declined due to poor management, compounded by a disdainful attitude toward a significant portion of their audience. It’s pretty ironic to hear insults from those affiliated with extreme groups.
I used to root for Hollywood even when it leaned left because that meant people were enjoying the work. Now, though? I honestly don’t care who’s behind any project.
My perspective shifted when platforms like Netflix and Disney began portraying young children inappropriately. It’s clear to all of us what’s happening. I won’t pretend it’s anything but wrong and unacceptable.
For real change to happen, Hollywood needs to fade away to have a chance at rebirth. The negative trends in entertainment news could ultimately benefit America, protecting our children and promoting decency for everyone.
