The federal government possesses startling evidence regarding UFOs that suggests we are not alone in the universe. This includes satellite images of what appear to be alien spacecraft, which, according to a knowledgeable source, do not resemble any technology known to us.
Christopher Mellon, who once served as the assistant secretary of defense for intelligence during the Clinton and Bush administrations, stated that the government’s UFO documentation is quite extensive. It contains surprising photos and videos.
Mellon believes that making this information public could elevate the ongoing UFO debate significantly.
Following an order from Trump two weeks ago, the Army Secretary, Pete Hegseth, has been tasked with releasing files related to UFOs, aliens, and all relevant information about this “very complex” topic, as mentioned by the president.
This announcement has caused quite a stir among federal agencies, including the White House and the Pentagon, but there hasn’t been any official word yet on what will be disclosed or the timeline for it.
Mellon emphasized that one of the most compelling pieces of evidence is a satellite image showing a spacecraft above Earth, which is clearly not man-made.
“The satellite images we capture look nothing like anything we’ve built,” he remarked.
Similar intriguing images of aircraft performing “actions that are hard to explain” have been referenced by John Ratcliffe, the former Director of National Intelligence and current CIA Director.
Back in 2017, Mellon played a critical role in the release of three notable military radar images of unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs) known as “Tic Tac,” “Go Fast,” and “Gimbal,” suggesting there are more similar images stored on government hard drives.
The government has now shifted to using the term “UAP” instead of “UFO.”
“There are several videos from the same sources that were unclassified in 2018,” he explained. “Unfortunately, these videos are not available to the public.”
“I know they exist because I’ve seen some of these videos,” he continued, adding that “there’s really no good reason” for withholding them.
While some striking images are expected in the upcoming release, Mellon doesn’t anticipate any files confirming direct contact with alien civilizations.
Various agencies—including the Department of the Army, the Department of National Intelligence, the National Security Agency, and others—hold UFO files that are affected by Trump’s directives, according to Mellon.
He noted that releasing classified information is generally an “unnatural act” for intelligence agencies.
“I feel like the bureaucracy has been quite slow to adapt, and even if they do, it’s unlikely they’ll provide everything right away,” he said. “It’ll be essential to have oversight from Congress to ensure a thorough process.”
Senator Mike Rounds (R-South Dakota), who is involved in the UAP Disclosure Act alongside Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, is advocating for transparency. He believes it’s crucial to protect military secrets while making as much information as possible available to the public regarding what we don’t understand or are investigating.
“I just want to ensure that what we announce doesn’t compromise national security,” he added.
