Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said Thursday on Fox News Channel’s “Special Report” that Tucker Carlson’s interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin was “two hours of bullshit.”
Host Bret Baier said, “My former colleague Tucker Carlson recently traveled to Moscow and agreed to an interview with President Vladimir Putin. Did you happen to see it or report on it?
Zelenskiy said: “I heard some messages in the media, and my subordinates who are my advisors said that to me, about us, about the world, about the United States, about bilateral relations, about this interview with the killer. I don’t have time to listen to over two hours of nonsense. I was briefed on what was in there.”
“One of the things he said was that he signed a decree prohibiting any negotiations with Russia, and that Russia has never refused to negotiate,” Baier said.
Zelenskiy said: “This is not a negotiation. Negotiations with tanks with the occupation of Ukraine were destroying our people. It is not about negotiations. That is first. Second, everyone knows And both Macron and Shultz will say that they spoke to Putin before the occupation and that Putin told them there would be no occupation or invasion. And just like afterwards, just half an hour before the invasion, he told them: I sent him a note. So he can’t be trusted. And whatever he promises, it’s nothing.”
