Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro (D) has come under fire for signing artillery shells that could be used to kill people in the Russia-Ukraine war.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky toured the battleground state of Pennsylvania with Democratic candidates and rep for Kamala Harris' campaign, The Blaze News reported, and one of Zelensky's stops was at a munitions factory in Scranton.
“The Democrats are now the party of war, and they're proud of it.”
The Scranton Army Ammunition Plant is one of the few facilities in the country that makes 155mm artillery shells and has increased production over the past year to supply Ukraine in its war with Russia, according to a statement. Rep. Matt Cartwright (D-Pennsylvania), who was at the plant, said Zelenskiy's message was “thank you, and we need more.”
Shapiro was also in attendance at the Scranton Army Ammunition Plant.
Shapiro said, video A photo of him signing the shells on X social media platform was accompanied by the caption, “From the workers of Scranton who make Pennsylvania the arsenal of democracy to the brave Ukrainian soldiers defending our homeland, we must all do our part in the fight for freedom. We are the righteous of Ukraine defending our homeland in the face of Russian aggression.”
Shapiro was criticized online for signing up for weapons of war.

Earlier this year, Former Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley Criticized Colonel Haley was arrested during a visit to Israel for signing an artillery shell that read, “F*ck Them!”
