Two adults found dead with children in Norfolk died of stab wounds to neck | UK news

The bodies of two children and two adults were found in a Norfolk home, and a post-mortem examination found that they had died from stab wounds to the neck.

The bodies of two girls, said to be aged 12 and seven, a 36-year-old woman and a 45-year-old man, were discovered at a house in Alan Bedford Crescent, Costessey, on Friday.Police say all four men are related and the man locally named Bartłomiej Kuczynski, structural engineer.

Police said: “A 36-year-old woman died from a stab wound to the neck, and a 45-year-old man also died from a stab wound to the neck.'' The police spokesperson added that post-mortem examinations of the two girls will be carried out on Wednesday.

Officers forced their way into a house in Costessey, near Norwich, at 7.15am on Friday after receiving a report from a member of the public. DCI Chris Burgess, from the Norfolk and Suffolk Major Investigation Team, previously told reporters: “We can confirm that all four people have sustained injuries and a post-mortem examination will be carried out at an appropriate time to determine the cause of death. It is scheduled to take place,” he said. Police officers are expected to remain at the scene for some time.

“We are still working to understand the full circumstances that led to the deaths of these people. However, at this time we believe this is an isolated incident. “We understand this may be upsetting and will be increasing patrols in the area over the weekend. We encourage anyone with any concerns to speak to these officers.”

He said police had previously visited the facility on Dec. 14 in connection with a missing persons investigation. A man called 999 from a property on Allan Bedford Crescent at around 6am that morning, but police were not dispatched. Police officers made the discovery about an hour and 15 minutes later, at around 7 a.m., after receiving a second call from a member of the public.

Norfolk Police are calling themselves the police watchdog over the delay, but are not looking for anyone else in connection with the tragedy.

one of the neighbors told the Eastern Daily Press: “Everyone is really sad about what happened. No one can believe it.

“You can't expect a police cordon, but they're just doing their job.”
