Two people were arrested in connection with the discovery of multiple body parts, including two severed heads, at a popular Long Island park last week, the Post reported.
The arrests occurred early Tuesday morning when officers raided a home on Railroad Avenue in Amityville, New York, a law enforcement source told The Post.
The first body part was discovered Thursday morning on Segal Boulevard on the east side of Suthers Park in Babylon, Suffolk County, by a girl who was walking to school with a group of friends.
When authorities searched the area, they found several other limb parts that police said belonged to a man and a woman.
Investigators said they hope DNA testing and the man’s tattooed left arm will help identify the victim.
