Two Joe Biden Scandals — One Farce, One Tragedy

Joe Biden’s presidency will end not with fanfare, but with scandal. two scandal.

An old man leaving the political scene – and not very willingly. He sounds a bit like Frank Skeffington, the inept old character played by Spencer Tracy in the 1958 film. The final hurrah. Skeffington sums up his questionable life thus: “One more regret at this age probably won’t do much.” But despite their enthusiasm for the election, neither Frank nor Joe could beat the clock, and their time passed.

So when history is written of the Biden-Harris administration, it will be largely a messy one. The political science term “segregation” fits perfectly.

At Breitbart News, the writer used the “d” word 12 times to describe President Biden’s administration. For example, on October 9, 2021, it was written that “the president is unable to lead opposing groups within his own party, and there is a general atmosphere of drift, even confusion.” I added that this same disconnect was also seen during the presidency of Jimmy Carter in the 1970s, “and we know what happened to him.”

We now know for certain that the 46th President will serve one term, just like the 39th President.

Still, there are some intriguing, compelling and terrifying threads to untangle. As the saying goes, history comes in two forms. farce and tragedy. Let’s take a look at each one in order.

Farce

Anyone who has even casually watched television over the past four years could have concluded that Biden has lost his train of thought, stared into space, drifted from one place to another and lost his mind.

Yet for those same years, loyalists in the administration and in the media continued to pretend: He is very smart! He inhales the briefing book! He is a harder worker than us all!

Again, this mask was easily seen through by anyone willing to see for themselves. But party discipline was strong enough that on June 4th, The Wall Street Journal HeadingThe reaction from Democratic gatekeepers to the article, “Behind Closed Doors, Biden Shows Signs of Decline,” was furious.

But the angry chaos didn’t last long. Biden’s iffy debate with former President Donald Trump on June 27, broadcast live on CNN, meant it was all over. Democrats realized they could not win the November election with Biden and withdrew from the race. (And then the Kamala Harris mania begins, but that’s a story for another time.)

Now, after three years of cover-up, details of Biden’s decline and fall are beginning to emerge. same journal I remembered On October 1, 2021, the president visited the U.S. Capitol in a chaotic fashion. The mission, to sell House Democrats on the pending infrastructure bill, was met with little more than pep talk and no enthusiasm: “During his 30-minute address to Congress, Biden rambled on and failed to make any concrete demands on lawmakers.” The episode was so bad that Biden hasn’t lobbied Congress since.

Rep. Dean Phillips (D-Minn.), who was in the audience that day, said, “This is the first time that I can remember that people have been pretty shocked by what they saw.” Phillips has threatened to challenge Biden in the primary, arguing that the incumbent is too old to win a second term. Phillips was slammed, shunned and ostracized by Democrats for his honesty. By 2025, he will be a private citizen.

This is where the farce begins as a “retroactive” setting by the media. This is a show business term that stands for “retroactive continuity,” meaning the narrator completes events as if they had been the true storyline all along. The mainstream media has altered Biden. I do not understand The man was elderly, and the truth was hidden from him by his family and close associates.

Thus, part of the story Edith WilsonPart of the 1993 film Daveand some recent HBO shows. Veep 1 Answer Obama Drama.

Renowned investigative journalist Seymour Hersh On July 17, Biden reportedly suffered an undisclosed “health issue” in Las Vegas, where the 44th president decided to remove the 46th president from the election, planning to invoke the 25th Amendment to the Constitution, which allows for the removal of an ineligible president, if necessary. And just to add a little spice to the story, Biden was thrown out the window: Endorsing Harris immediatelyas a way to block last-minute entry Michelle Obama. thatBarack!

How true is this? No one knows! But the drillers continue to dig, and in the meantime A wonderful farce.

Of course, if Biden were to pardon any of his family members (he said he wouldn’t pardon Hunter, but then said a number of things that have since turned out to be untrue), that would provide another, less farcical storyline. Watergate.

tragedy

It’s a miracle that Donald Trump survived a bullet that hit him within a quarter-inch of his skull, but the shooting that occurred in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13 was a tragedy that took the life of an innocent (and heroic) man and injured others.

How could the United States Secret Service (USSS) have been so sloppy? Or was it more than that? badrather than sloppiness?

On July 22, the House of Representatives Voted 416-0 Establish a committee to investigate the incident. On July 29, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-Louisiana) announced that seven He picked six Republicans for the committee, and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) announced six Democrats at the same time. In a rare joint statement, the two leaders expressed optimism about the work ahead: “We are confident that this bipartisan, robust and highly competent group of lawmakers will act swiftly to uncover the facts, ensure accountability, and ensure this kind of failure never happens again.” The committee has set a December 13 deadline for its report, but don’t be surprised if the deadline is extended or follow-ups are released.

Still, a formal investigation is needed, even if it is unlikely to address all concerns. Warren CommissionA commission formed in 1963 to investigate the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

The following year, the commission concluded that Lee Harvey Oswald was the sole assassin. To this day, many people remain skeptical of the findings of the Warren Commission. Making a statement in front of the camera“I’m just a scapegoat.” The fact that Oswald himself was shot and killed in police custody shortly thereafter only fuels doubt and even conspiracy theories. The deceased suspect was unable to answer any questions. interesting.

On July 23, after disastrous congressional hearings, Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle resigned. Since then, a string of disturbing allegations have continued to emerge. For example, on July 25, Senator Josh Hawley (R-Missouri) said: Posts“The whistleblower said local law enforcement partners and suppliers offered drones to the Secret Service ahead of the rally, but the Secret Service rejected them.” If this were true, we might wonder: why did the USSS do not have Interested in drone support?

And on July 29th, The New York Times A local police counter-sniper reported that a few hours before the shots were fired, he had warned his colleagues that a suspicious person he believed to be Thomas Michael Crooks was wandering around. Several other officers in Butler, Pennsylvania, also noticed that he was carrying a rangefinder, a key tool in long-range shooting. One officer even took his photograph. But for some reason, USSS higher-ups took no action. Then, on the 30th, A whistleblower came forward The culture of the USSS does not preclude the possibility of new shootings, and no doubt more revelations and allegations will emerge in the future.

So what is true and what is not true? This crisis will, at the very least, simmer.

Meanwhile, social media is abuzz. On July 26, Joel Berry, editor-in-chief of the satire site Babylon Bee, Posts X’s not-so-fun poll question: “Do you believe the assassination attempt on President Trump was the work of a lone actor, or do you believe the government was trying to kill President Trump?” Thousands responded, with a two-to-one majority choosing “attack the government.”

who answered The person asking for more details on the question was conservative internet personality Mike Cernovich.

Hybrid warfare. The Secret Service created the conditions for an assassin to open fire. It’s hard to be sure if the assassin was MK-Ultra or something. We can speculate, but we can’t know. The administration definitely wanted someone to kill Trump, and left the possibility open.

MKUltra was once a secret CIA experiment that used drugs to “brainwash” subjects and test whether they could control their future behavior. Hypnosis and other forms of malicious manipulation have long fascinated people. The 1962 Frank Sinatra film Manchurian Kadidateand the 1974 Warren Beatty film Parallax view, Both contain elements of assassination through brainwashing.

Does any of the fiction of the past foreshadow some truth? I don’t know yet.

But one thing is known: Trump will be returning to Butler, Pennsylvania. A pilgrimage to the site of the massacre would add grandeur to the tragedy.
