The United States figure skaters and their coaches were among those who were on the Flight of American Airlines, which collided with Black Hawk helicopters.

U.S. figure skating issued a statement early Thursday in the morning, confirming that the airplane passengers contain some athletes and coaches.
“We are grieving, knowing that the figure skaters are one of the ships, along with their family, friends and coaches,” says US Fighating. “Our idea is with all the people influenced by this tragedy.”
“Figure skating is more than sports and a close family -we stand together.”
In the past, Kremlin has confirmed that Russia's Ice Skating coach, former world champion Effugenia Shishikova (53 years old) and 56 -year -old Vadim Naumov are on flight.
The International Olympic Committee expressed their sorrowful DOL.
Doug Zegibe, the highest executive officer of the Boston skate club, also talked about some of the group members.
“This will have a long impact on our community,” he said at a press conference he was visibly and emotional.
