almost 5 months later Israel’s attack on Gaza, almost everyone trapped in its territory is starving and has little access to clean drinking water, sanitation, or electricity. But for women, the war brought more horror every month.

“The bombing and evacuation of Israel has created immense stress, but experiencing menstruation in these conditions feels like a completely different kind of war,” says Mona.

The United Nations estimates that nearly 700,000 women and girls in Gaza have menstrual cycles, but many struggle to manage them with little privacy or access to sanitary pads, toilets or clean water. There is. On average, shelters run by Unruwa, the UN aid agency for Palestinians, have one toilet for every 486 people.

Israel transfers thousands of tons of aid to Gaza every day, including food, water, fuel and medical supplies, including sanitary products.

Unfortunately, the United Nations has failed to distribute aid, and Hamas terrorists are known to steal much of the aid.

Friday, March 8, is also International Women’s Day, which the Israeli government commemorates to remind the world about the female hostages still in Gaza.

Israel also includes a female hostage who was killed but whose body has not been returned to Israel.
