Britain’s population will rise by 10% to nearly 74 million people in 2036, official projections revealed on Tuesday, with net immigration boosting the number exponentially.
The Office for National Statistics (ONS) says this sharp increase is almost entirely due to net migration (which is expected to account for 6.1 million people of the projected population increase), with a further jump of nearly 3 million people over the next 10 years. The ONS said actual future levels of migration and population could be higher or lower and would be “influenced by policy changes and the effects of as-yet-unknown migration patterns”. said.

The UK’s population is expected to grow by 6.6 million people in the 15 years between mid-2021 and mid-2036, or 9.9% from an estimated 67 million to 73.7 million, the ONS said.
The increase includes 541,000 more births than deaths and 6.1 million net international movements, both of which are ahead of British Chancellor Rishi Sunak’s earlier pledge to tackle mass migration. This is an increase that ignores the company’s public commitments.

In comments sent to Breitbart London, Arp Mehmet, chairman of Immigration Watch UK, said: “This population growth is the equivalent of five cities the size of Birmingham, and over just 15 years, more than 90 per cent has been due to immigration. It is also clear that net immigration, on which ONS projections are based, has already been exceeded. I also know.
