The United Nations is calling for a “thorough investigation” into the death of Aysenur Egci Egci, a Turkish-American activist who was recently killed in the West Bank amid the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas in the region.

Stephane Dujarric, a spokesman for UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, was asked about the deaths at a press conference on Friday.
