University President Tells Biological Males to Leave Women’s Sports

The president of Houghton College on Monday called for an end to the participation of biological males in women’s sports, saying it is contrary to nature and blurs fundamental distinctions between men and women.

Dr. Wayne D. Lewis Jr., the sixth president of the private university in upstate New York, points out that Houghton is a Christian liberal arts college before calling his position non-religious. In a statement, she detailed her stance defending women’s university track and field teams.

Rather, the moral position is that, as other sports organizations have already made clear, it is simply wrong to allow men to take over women’s and women’s sports.

“It is wrong for biological males to participate in women’s athletics,” wrote Lewis, the university’s first African-American president.

“Too many coaches, parents, professional athletes, and well-meaning people remain silent while female athletes are humiliated, silenced, and denied hard-earned opportunities. and is complicit in fringe policies that threaten to dismantle women’s athletics.”

Mr Lewis concluded his statement by asking for the support of the wider community.

“Enough is enough,” he said. “As president of a university, I am committed to forcing our female student-athletes to take to the track, court, and field every week to compete, and in some cases, on a playing field that we know is unfair. We are not going to sit back and watch this happen. Please join us.”

Lewis’ statement came after Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) transgender athlete Sadie Schreiner won the women’s 200-meter dash at the All-Atlantic Regional Championships, Fox News reported. Note.

He adds his voice to an issue that is already polarizing many sports around the world.

Last month, officials in Nassau County, New York, moved to ban men from competing as women in county-run sports facilities, pushing back against the liberal state’s system.

As Breitbart News reported, County Executive Bruce Blakeman said the ban was intended to protect the integrity of women’s sports.

“What we are saying here today in the executive order is that if a league or team calls itself or advertises itself as a women’s or women’s league or team, biological males must That means he shouldn’t be in the league,” Blakeman said.
