Police are searching for a gunman they believe specifically targeted a UPS employee in Birmingham, Alabama, who was shot and killed Tuesday at about 6:05 p.m.
ABC News report The worker was shot as he walked to his car after finishing his shift around 6:05 p.m. The suspect fired several shots and then fled the scene.
WBRC I got it. The victim, Anthony Lamar Love Jr., 44, was found lying on the ground, unresponsive, when police arrived. Love was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sergeant Rakitta Wade, of Birmingham Police Station, commented on the incident: “Some of our personnel are very upset about what happened here. They are afraid of what happened here. We just want to make sure the public knows they’re not being exposed to it.”
CBS42 It pointed out No one in custody or police believes the attack was targeted.
