The university said in a statement that several students were suspended for their actions.

“Some students assaulted social services staff seeking admission and pushed those who requested to see them,” the statement said.

“Student Affairs staff took a phased approach to de-escalate the situation,” they added. “First, they asked the students to leave the school.
