“What I've heard on the news, what concerns me the most is that he's been to China 30 times. He's a senior officer, he has artillery units in Nebraska, they're doing classified material, and they're firing it,” Schilling said.
“He's been to China about 30 times, which I find really suspicious. I'd like to hear more about this before it becomes an issue with China about people bribing members of Congress,” Schilling said. “Besides the stolen honor issue and what he's done, this is just not right, especially as it relates to China.”
Waltz boasts that he has visited China some 30 times, including as a member of the National Guard. He joined the National Guard in 1981, first visited China in 1989-1990, and returned in 1993 with a group of high school students, with help and funding from the Chinese government. After marrying on the fifth anniversary of the Tiananmen Square massacre, he took his wife on a honeymoon in 1994, with even more students and further funding from the Chinese government. Waltz and his wife started a small private business sending students on summer tours to China.

National security experts recently told Breitbart News that military personnel with security clearances are required to report travel to countries hostile to U.S. interests. Breitbart News asked the Minnesota National Guard whether Waltz held a security clearance during his service but did not receive a response. Rep. Jim Banks (R-Ind.), chairman of the House Armed Services Committee's Military Personnel Subcommittee and a Navy veteran, also asked the Pentagon for a response but did not receive one.
House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.), who is also investigating Waltz's travels to China, has requested information from the FBI about whether it ever warned Waltz about the security risks of doing business with China. The FBI was due to respond by August 30, but an aide told Breitbart News that they have not yet received a response.
Added Army Command Sergeant Major (Ret.) Tom Behrens, who was also interviewed, “If you sell off and abandon your National Guard troops, what are you going to do at the national level?”
