Trump Celebrates New Bestseller by Historian Victor Davis Hanson

President Donald Trump recently marked the achievement of historian Victor Davis Hanson’s latest book, “The Counterrevolution: The Fall and Rise of Donald Trump and the MAGA Movement,” which has made it onto the New York Times bestseller list.

Hanson, known for his conservative viewpoints and historical insights, discusses Trump’s political journey, particularly focusing on his return to the presidency in this new publication. Released on September 8, the book has garnered notable commercial and cultural attention.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump expressed his joy over the book’s success, sharing a screenshot of its ranking on the bestseller list. He also revisited his previous comments about the book, expressing his gratitude to Hanson while humorously suggesting that the author might “understand” him even better than he understands himself.

“New York Times Bestselling Author, Victor Davis Hanson, just wrote what will quickly be considered one of the BEST BOOKS OF THE YEAR (Maybe the BEST!),” Trump stated. “Entitled, THE COUNTER REVOLUTION, he understands me, perhaps better, than I understand myself. From the brink of disaster, the U.S.A. is now the ‘hottest’ Country anywhere in the World, and it was MAGA, and a lot of Great American Patriots, that got us there. Victor Davis Hanson explains it all, and better than ever before!”

Hanson, age 73, holds a senior fellowship in military history at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University and is a professor emeritus of classics at California State University, Fresno. He has authored several other bestsellers, including “The Case for Trump” and “The Second World Wars.”

The new book, “The Counterrevolution,” examines Trump’s political path, focusing on his departure from office in 2021, the legal hurdles he faced afterward, and his unusual comeback to the presidency.
