Wembanyama Turns Heads at Paris Fashion Week
Following the Spurs’ loss to the Knicks in the NBA Finals, Victor Wembanyama, San Antonio’s towering center, captured attention at Paris Fashion Week.
The French sensation, standing at an impressive 7 feet 4 inches, looked cheerful at the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2027 menswear showcase on Tuesday.
As a Louis Vuitton ambassador, he donned a stylish beige suit paired with dark sunglasses from the luxury brand.
He shared a moment with rapper Lil Baby and also chatted with French swimmer Leon Marchand, making the event even more memorable.
Pharrell, who serves as Louis Vuitton’s men’s creative director, unveiled a collection that boasted a unique beach setting right in the heart of Paris.
Earlier that same day, Louis Vuitton posted a photo of Wembanyama showcasing a dark pinstripe suit along with a duffel bag emblazoned with their logo.
The new collection takes inspiration from coastal themes, described as “dandy with a technical expression of suiting,” reflecting a laid-back surfer vibe.
Over the weekend, Wembanyama was spotted at the Fête de la Musique festival in France, highlighting his enjoyment of the NBA offseason back home, now a week after the 2026 NBA Finals.
The Spurs faced a tough defeat against the Knicks, who triumphed in four of five games to snag their first championship title in 53 years.
The Spurs started off the series by losing the initial two games on their home court before bouncing back with a win in Game 3.
However, after a disappointing Game 4 in which they lost a 29-point lead, they fell to the Knicks 94-90 in Game 5 at home on June 13.
This season, Wembanyama had an impressive run, leading the Spurs to a remarkable 62-20 record, securing the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference.
