Video: Audience Bursts Into Laughter After Comedian David Cross Expresses Anticipation for President Trump's Death

Comedian David Cross surprised audiences with a new joke in his special, implying he was looking forward to President Donald Trump’s death.

In a segment filled with quotes from Trump’s speeches, Cross sang, “beginning of the end, beginning of the end.” By the time he reached the end of the segment, he remarked that the lyrics had been penned by “the late Donald Trump.”

The crowd responded with cheers and applause at the dark humor regarding the president’s demise. “One day I’ll be able to say that,” Cross added, perhaps a bit wistfully.

Mr. Cross went on to discuss the radical left’s criticisms of Dean Obeidallah. Obeidallah described himself as a “patriot,” expressing that true patriots should “despise” Trump and noted that his animosity towards the president was “very personal.”

“Well, he makes it personal. George Bush never made it personal. I didn’t like his policies and thought he was full of it, but Trump makes it personal. He forces it to be personal. So, yeah. And the audience took it personal,” Cross reflected on the enthusiastic applause he received.

Obeidallah also recalled Trump’s assurances to women that he would act as their protector. According to him, Trump had said there would be safety, whether desired or not.

“You will be protected, and I will be your protector, and I will do even more, so you will be safe whether you like it or not,” Cross echoed.

Obeidallah then claimed that Trump’s rhetoric bordered on behavior reminiscent of a “rapist.”

“A man who was sentenced as a rapist. That’s not accurate, you don’t want to hear that from him. But what does that actually say? Like, this guy won,” Obeidallah emphasized.

Cross remarked that Trump’s victory was due to the intelligence level of the voters.

“It reflects where we are in America, it comments on the media, the recklessness of the Democratic Party, and what the American spirit stands for. I think it’s very human, as we see it. It touches on the education system. Um, yeah,” he concluded.
