Video shows fast food worker shove Tulsa woman climbing into drive-thru to allegedly try to rob Burger King with knife

Police in Oklahoma are trying to identify a woman who was caught on video attempting to rob a Burger King with a sheathed knife while her dog sat next to her.

The incident occurred on Oct. 10 at 11:13 p.m., according to a date stamp on the video, which was shot at a Tulsa fast food restaurant.

Surveillance footage obtained by KOKI-TV shows the woman climbing through the drive-thru window with a knife and struggling with a female employee for a minute before being forced back into the car.

“This is a little strange,” said Lt. Justin Ritter of the Tulsa Police Department. “This is a little bit out of the norm from what we normally deal with.”

The woman interacts with the employee for several seconds, but it's unclear what she's requesting because the audio is mostly beeping.

Ritter noted that she had a sheath on the knife and at one point tried to remove it from the knife, by which time the employee was able to push her out the window.

“Obviously strange behavior. I'm not sure what's going on with this woman,” he continued. “The dog keeps barking in the van.''

He added that the video shows many distinctive features of the vehicle and should be able to quickly identify the woman.

“It's a gray Nissan minivan. In fact, there's a winking face painted on the driver's side mirror. There appears to be a little scratch just above the driver's side bumper. On the driver's side door. It doesn’t have a handle,” he said.

“If someone saw her, they would know who she is,” Ritter asserts.
