Police say security video shows a man bizarrely spitting on an 11-year-old girl as she walked to school, then groping her while pretending to help her wipe the spittle off her shirt. It is said that he was

The incident occurred around 8 a.m. Friday near 71st Street and 54th Street in Maspeth, New York City's Bronx. According to To the New York City Police Department.
The video shows the man walking towards the girl and casually spitting his drink on her. Police say the man pretended to be in an accident, reached over to clean the mess, and then groped the girl's buttocks.
Shortly afterward, police said the same man attempted to sexually assault a 12-year-old child using the same technique.
“It's predatory, it's dangerous, and the common denominator is girls going to school,” NYPD Commissioner John Chell told WNBC-TV. “This is a sex offender's MO. This is a parent's worst nightmare.”
The girl was treated at a hospital and is expected to be okay.
The NYPD later announced the arrest of the suspect, identified as Kadeem Laguerre, 27, of Brooklyn. He was arrested and charged with first-degree sexual assault.
Police are appealing to anyone with additional information about the incident to contact them.
