Cellphone video has surfaced showing a man with a machine gun carjacking an SUV at a traffic light near Winter Springs, Florida, in broad daylight, FOX35 reported Friday.

Sheriff Lema said Aguas-Vivas called her husband shortly before the incident and told him she was being followed by a green Acura that rammed into the SUV. The newspaper added that Aguas Vivas’ husband told her to stay in her car and continue driving her.
Witnesses reported hearing gunshots about an hour later and seeing smoke coming from a car fire at the construction site, according to FOX35.
Police have not officially identified the body found in the badly burned vehicle, but believe the deceased was Aguas-Vivas, ABC reported.
According to the newspaper, Sheriff Lemma said 12 shell casings and one projectile were found at the scene. He added that authorities are currently searching for the green Acura and the occupants of the car that followed where the assailants allegedly imprisoned Aguas Vivas.
“This was not a random act of violence. The perpetrators knew exactly who they were targeting,” Lema said. “Why they’re going after them is part of our ongoing investigation.”
