Video shows moment ‘manic ‘possessed’ American Airlines passenger throws punches at flight attendants

The wild footage captures the moment an American Airlines passenger who claimed that an evil spirit was chasing him began to throw punches at the flight attendant with a strange explosive passenger that is said to be “the most annoying thing I've ever seen.”

Deringia Augustine can be seen screaming, swinging her arms, kicking her leg in front of the plane. Retrieved by CBS Miami Show.

According to passenger Rose Rose Rosenberg, Augustine swallowed the Rosary as his sister after the passenger held him on the floor.

“They were owned,” Rosenberg told the outlet.

“It was a very, very, very disturbing scene. I've seen so many things in my life, and it was probably the most disturbing thing I've ever seen.”

The ordeal, which ended with 31-year-old handcuffs, began the moment the wheels left the ground in Savannah, Georgia.

A fellow passenger Rosenberg said he became worried when Augustine began yelling about the demon.

“He started stomping his feet hard like he was heavy and screaming. It was a bit of a hymn,” he told CBS Miami. “He was talking about the devil and the property. You need to see it to believe it in some kind of thing.”

According to the affidavit, he kicked a flight attendant who flew across the aisle of the plane and went to check him hard in his chest as he hit the window. After the kick, the pilot decided that it was safest to return the Miami-bound plane back to the Savannah.

“He was very violent. You're not normal and you don't care anymore,” Rosenberg said.

Augustine also “destroyed” the seat in front of him.

As they landed in the Savannah, Augustine immediately recharged the plane's front door and began to rock as shown in the video. He also had a younger sister.

Rosenberg and his friends jumped in and helped bring Augustine to the ground. After arriving there, he grabbed his sister's hair bread and pants and refused to let go as authorities arrived.

“They took him once, twice, three times. He hadn't let go. At that point they had to cut the woman's hair to let him go,” he said.

He also swallowed the rosary – his sister later told police.

After the duo was taken into custody, Augustine's sister told authorities that they would travel to Haiti to “run away from religious attacks of a spiritual nature.”

During the flight, Augustine told her sister, “I pray that Satan's disciples will chase them on the plane and Legion will close her eyes and pray, as Augustines did not want them to reach Haiti.”

Police said only about eight passengers were on the plane at the time of the explosion.

Augustine, who was hospitalized after swallowing Rosary Beads, was booked in prison on several charges, including misdemeanor battery and criminal property damage.
