California Woman Arrested After Accusing Man of Trafficking His Daughter
A woman from California confronted a man who was walking with a 6-year-old girl, accusing him of sex trafficking, according to police reports.
This unsettling event took place in a wealthy neighborhood in San Jose and was recorded; many residents were disturbed by the footage that captured the woman pointing out the differences in skin color between the man and the child.
‘That’s a white little girl, and you are a man of color. So I believe you are either buying or selling or trafficking this child,’ she stated in the video.
The man, who chose to remain anonymous, explained to a local news station that the woman approached him while he was with the girl. She allegedly asked him, “Are you buying or selling today?” which he found quite alarming.
“I was already uncomfortable because she had approached my daughter, so I was taken aback,” the father shared. After the encounter, he began recording when she returned and challenged his citizenship.
“She slowed down and asked whether I was even legal in the country,” he recalled. He captured on video her declaring, “I’m recording you too. I work with the feds,” from her vehicle.
In her car, she continued, “Have a good day, I’m just making sure you’re not sex trafficking this poor little girl, who’s very unhappy to be with you and doesn’t look like your child.” She reiterated her belief about the situation, adamantly stating, “That’s a white little girl, and you are a man of color. So I believe you are either buying or selling or trafficking this child.”
After she drove away, the man started recording again, realizing she had to return through the cul-de-sac. The woman went on to quote scripture, “Psalm 101:8, my daily task will be to ferret out the wicked and free the city of God from their grip,” and added a rather ominous end note: “Burn in hell, you will.”
Feeling disturbed by the encounter, the man went to the police and shared the footage with them. He described himself as “brown” and mentioned that his daughter is half-white.
On Thursday, police labeled her comments as “discriminatory” and disclosed that she had a history of similar incidents, including behavior at a high school in the region.
Authorities traced her identity and arrested her. She was placed into custody at the Santa Clara County Main Jail on multiple charges, including stalking and hate crimes.
As of now, the police have indicated that their investigation is still ongoing.
