Viral beauty hack prevents watery eyes from ruining makeup — but is it safe?

Beauty influencer Ayato Mishal shares her beauty hacks to prevent watery eyes from ruining your perfect makeup look.

Some viewers pointed out that overdosing on Vaseline can cause other problems due to its comedogenic effects.

“People should be careful about using petroleum jelly under and around the eyes, especially if they are prone to milia or styes,” Dr. Hecht added. “The skin under and around the eyes is very thin, so applying thick ointments like Vaseline to this area can increase the risk of developing milia.”
