Hilton assured us in October that the latest delay we recently reported on reopening the landmark Waldorf Astoria hotel (through spring 2025) would be the project's last postponement.
A week ago, Hilton trumpeted that it would launch an online hotel reservation site on December 10th, as if to confirm this.
I went to a live show. But if spring is the goal for reopening, why weren't the earliest reservations offered until September 1st?
Spokesperson Emma Silverman said, “No. [spring] The opening is not shifted back. As the opening date approaches, we plan to begin accepting reservations starting in spring 2025. ”
Also slated to open is Rex Yard, a Waldorf brasserie-style restaurant helmed by Gramercy Tavern chef Michael Anthony. looking forward to it.
