A viral video has surfaced showing a chaotic scene at an Indiana Walmart, where a group of enraged women attacked employees while others tried to intervene and restore order.
The unsettling clip, recorded last Friday in Indianapolis and shared on Facebook, captures a black woman holding a female employee in a checkout aisle while another woman, dressed in pink, delivers a barrage of blows.
As this unfolds, chaotic screams can be heard in the background, with one voice shouting, “Where is he, bitch?!”
Two bystanders rushed to help the staff, attempting to separate the aggressive woman in pink from the employee.
Despite their efforts, a male individual joined the fray, kicking the downed employee, while another woman in blue continued the assault.
Though coworkers eventually managed to protect the employees, the woman in pink remained combative, throwing items and pulling hair.
Although the male attacker tried to rejoin the melee, Walmart associates were quick to stop him.
Eventually, they managed to separate the mob, flanked by two good Samaritans who helped keep the attackers at bay.
“It all happened right there,” commented a witness, who frequents the store. “As soon as they spotted her, the whole family charged in to attack.”
Before the violence erupted, the witness overheard someone claiming to be related to a alleged victim of a sexual assault, looking for a person associated with the incident.
The targeted employee, identified as Tikera Hicks, explained that she had received news about a friend’s alleged assault just before the confrontation occurred while she was working.
Hicks described being ambushed right after leaving the restroom. “When I heard ‘I’m off there,’ it felt like a blow to my head,” she said.
Though Hicks claims she knows the woman has long scapegoated her friends, she expressed bewilderment about why she herself was attacked, saying, “This has nothing to do with me.”
She maintained that even if a crime occurred, she had no involvement, stating, “I wasn’t there to protect him.”
A police report on a rape investigation reportedly names Hicks as a person of interest, but she asserts that these claims are unfounded and contends she has only communicated with officers after the brawl.
Following the incident, Hicks revealed that she has been suspended from her job at Walmart.
The retailer has been approached for a statement regarding the assault.
