We Shouldn’t Spend ‘Another Dime on This War’

Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) said in an appearance Tuesday that the United States should not spend “another penny” on the Ukraine war. Breitbart News Daily.

“I’m not a fan of President Putin. I hope Ukraine can win this war. The problem is we’ve already spent $113 billion on this war,” the senator said, adding that this reminded the audience that “this is not our war to begin with.”

“But that’s more than any other country on Earth. In fact, it’s more than every other country on Earth spends combined. These guys are going to another continent. “This is not our backyard,” Lee pressed, explaining that the United States should not be spending any more money on wars, especially given the crisis on our country’s southern border.

“I don’t think we should spend another penny on this war, especially given the ongoing invasion of our country across our southern border,” he said, adding that the Ukraine bill includes He added that there was nothing to do. That problem.

“Furthermore, some countries in Europe are not playing their due role,” he said. “We have been paying Europe’s security bill, or a significant portion of it, for decades and facilitating the march towards European-style socialism, because we believe they are not sharing enough. Lee also criticized Democrats for waving Ukrainian flags in the House of Representatives, saying they were “going a little too far.”

“To put this into context here, it’s like we’re preparing to send another $61 billion to a country that has already received over $113 billion, and that’s not cool,” he said, adding that it’s a little less loyal to America. He added that it was too strong. Countries other than the United States.
