Well-known Catholic exorcist instructed to refrain from public speaking for a full year

Fr. Chad Ripperger, a well-known Catholic priest recognized for his teachings on exorcism and spiritual warfare, has been instructed to suspend all public ministry for a year, according to reports.

Archbishop James Golka of Denver requested that Ripperger cancel all scheduled public engagements, online homilies, and writing activities until next September, as reported by LifeSiteNews, which confirmed the order with Ripperger.

The news came to LifeSiteNews’s attention only after Ripperger announced he would be unable to participate in a speaking engagement at the outlet’s anniversary gala in April.

“The Archbishop has asked me to take a break from public speaking,” Ripperger shared with LifeSiteNews, noting he is also not allowed to provide any written statements or films for the gala.

Kelly Clark, the communications director for the Archdiocese of Denver, informed LifeSiteNews that Archbishop Golka had suggested a one-year hiatus from public speaking and interviews for Ripperger, allowing him more time to focus on his society and the people he serves.

“Fr. Ripperger readily agreed,” Clark added. “At the end of the year, they will review the arrangement together.”

Clark emphasized that Archbishop Golka appreciates Ripperger’s contributions as a priest and exorcist, expressing gratitude for his understanding in accepting the request. The message concluded with a plea for prayers for both Ripperger and his society.

Recently, Fr. Ripperger has been a guest on numerous popular media platforms, such as podcasts with Joe Rogan, Tucker Carlson, and Sean Ryan, gathering millions of views while discussing subjects including the occult, addiction, communism, and possession.

He mentioned to Ryan that he believes many global leaders are involved in pedophilia and devil worship.

Ryan later indicated to Carlson that his discussions with Fr. Ripperger inspired him to return to Catholicism.
