Tom Brady Admits to On-Air Blunder During Eagles-Rams Game

Tom Brady took responsibility for an unexpected moment during the Fox broadcast of the Eagles-Rams game this past Sunday.

At one point during the game, Brady fell silent, looking perplexed about the lack of communication in his headset.

His broadcasting partner, Kevin Burkhardt, later asked, “Do you want to explain the mic issue?”

Brady, a seven-time Super Bowl champion, confessed that he had accidentally dropped his large binder filled with notes and research on the talkback button he uses to speak with his production team during the game.

As a result, he was unable to hear anyone, nor could they hear him.

“It’s my fault the whole time,” Brady acknowledged.

He added, “That’s like a quarterback owning up to his mistakes.”

Burkhardt responded with a chuckle, enjoying the moment as laughter rang out in the booth and among fans watching at home.

One viewer commented, “Tom, that’s why you won seven Super Bowls—accountability.”

Another chimed in, saying, “Tom Brady is the best broadcaster since joining Fox Sports.”

A third user added, “Tom Brady keeps it real in the booth; he really is the best in the game.”

Brady has been quite open in his early days as an analyst for Fox. This season alone, he’s made several viral comments, including a playful jab at Justin Herbert, calling one of his throws a “meatball sub.” He also candidly reacted with an “Oh s–t” to a replay of Jayden Daniels’ elbow injury during Week 2.

On that note, Brady reflected on his lack of filter, stating, “I fully expect you to beep out those ‘piss missiles,’ OK? You can’t say that; my swear jar is getting way too full at home. My kids are loving it.”

“I’m actually kind of embarrassed. There’s a lot of grandmas at home probably not too happy with my language on Fox. I’m going to work on that. Sorry. I apologize.”

Next up, Brady and Burkhardt will be announcing the 49ers-Cardinals game in Week 5.
