Meetings. Lots of meetings. These are just some of the plans the White House has in store for the next few days as President Joe Biden tries to project a dynamic, proactive image far removed from what the public saw during the sad presidential debates.
AP Report The White House announced Tuesday that Trump, who is in his 80s, will meet with congressional leaders and Democratic governors to convince them he is the right man for the job.
He will then give a network television interview on Friday and hold a news conference in the coming days.
Biden will speak with “Good Morning America” and “This Week” host George Stephanopoulos during the interview, Breitbart News reported.
The show will air on “This Week” on Sunday, July 7, and on “Good Morning America” on Monday.

Biden is also scheduled to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu when he arrives in Washington, D.C., later this month to address a joint session of Congress.
The onslaught was designed to overcome growing pressure for the 81-year-old president to opt out of the 2024 presidential race following his disastrous performance in last week’s debate with Republican Donald Trump.
“We really want to get this resolved,” White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre said of growing calls for Biden to drop out of the race, according to the Associated Press.
She added that the president has no intention of stepping down and said his debate blunder was simply evidence of a “bad night” when he had a cold.
The move to get Biden out comes as Democratic leaders despair over White House attempts to write off Biden’s performance as a one-off after his answers were choppy and incomprehensible and he occasionally stuttered.
