
San Diego, California (KSWB/KUSI) — According to Forbes, there are 2,781 names on the World’s Richest List in 2024, and the youngest of the richest people were born into wealthy families.
But who are these teenage billionaires and what empires are behind their names?
These are the two youngest people on Forbes’ list, and the only ones under 20.

del vecchioThe 19-year-old owes his net worth to his father, Leonardo Del Vecchio (founder). Essilor Luxottica, the world’s largest manufacturer and retailer of eyeglasses and frames. The younger Del Vecchio currently owns 12.5% of the Luxembourg-based holding company Delfin, which he inherited when his father passed away in 2022.
Mr. Delfin also owns stock in other large companies, including several banks.
Clemente was once the world’s youngest billionaire (at the age of 18), but as he got older he lost that title, which is now held by Livia Vogt.

VogtAccording to Forbes, the 19-year-old is the largest shareholder in WEG Industries, a Brazil-based electric motor manufacturer. Her grandfather, Werner Ricardo Vogt, co-founded her WEG in 1961.
Vogt’s profile on Forbes says she is currently a student and does not have an active role within the company.
Forbes magazine determined that, including Del Vecchio and Vogt, there are 25 people under the age of 33 on the 2024 billionaires list, with a combined net worth of $110 billion. However, Forbes estimates that, except for a small number of people over 30, very few people were self-made.
